Brian is an ex-copywriter, a vowed member of the Order and an instructor of spiritual direction. His greatest joy is accompanying people toward the God who loves them and the mission they’re being created for. Also coffee and the city of Cleveland. After studying at Fuller Theological Seminary, Brian trained with Sustainable Faith and went on to apprentice in directing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius through Evangelical Seminary.

Before his current vocation as a level-1 trauma center chaplain, Eric was the lead pastor of an urban Vineyard church and has been accompanying others as a spiritual director since 2015. He appreciates the many and diverse ways God is present to us, surprises us and delights us, and considers it a gift to walk alongside others as they listen to their life, notice God’s presence and activity, and lean further into the abundant life Jesus shares with them. Eric is married with three children.

Sr. Heather Kristine is a trauma-informed spiritual director and vowed member of the Order of the Common Life. Her compassionate, adaptive style creates a safe space for individuals to explore their spiritual lives in a way that honors their full selves. Her approach is creative, embodied, and deeply sensitive to the diverse needs of each person.
She dynamically adapts the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, offering a retreat experience that is uniquely tailored to the individual’s unique needs and personality.
Sr. Heather is also passionate about working with pastors and ministry leaders, supporting them in recovering from or avoiding burnout, and cultivating life-giving rhythms to sustain them in their work.
Janine Rohrer, n.OCL

Janine finds joy in creating contemplative, safe spaces for connection with God and witnessing the transformation that occurs in that loving presence. She has served in ministry in a variety of settings, including both internationally and within the U.S. She has a MSW from Columbia and has worked with survivors of homelessness, addiction and sex trafficking. She is exploring ways to create spaces of stillness and retreat within NYC. In her free time, she enjoys caring for a vegetable plot in a community garden, walking in Central Park and off-the-beaten path travel. She completed her training with Sustainable Faith in 2017 and is also certified as a supervisor with Sustainable Faith.
